GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Delegation Trip to Japan

§1 Scope of Application
(1) These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern participation in the EUROFORGE delegation trip (hereinafter referred to as the “Trip”).
(2) Deviating or conflicting terms of participants shall not apply unless expressly agreed in writing by the organizer.
§2 Registration and Conclusion of Contract
(1) Registration for the Trip must be completed via the official registration platform within the specified deadlines.
(2) By submitting the registration, the participant makes a binding offer to conclude a contract.
(3) The contract is concluded only upon explicit confirmation by the organizer.
§3 Participation Requirements and Allocation of Places
(1) Participation in the Trip is limited to a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 38 delegates.
(2) Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to approval by the organizer.
(3) Participation is primarily limited to delegates from forging companies that are members of EUROFORGE national associations. Remaining places may be allocated to suppliers.
(4) Each EUROFORGE member association is assigned a quota of seats based on its membership share - unused quotas may be reallocated:

(5) EUROFORGE associated members are entitled to one (1) seat each.
(6) Initially, only one (1) participant per company may register. Additional participants may be admitted subject to availability.
(7) Registrations are binding upon confirmation.
§4 Travel Arrangements
(1) Flights, transfers, and any additional travel arrangements not expressly included in the official itinerary are not part of the contractual services and must be organized independently by the participants.
(2) Travel arrangements should only be booked after receipt of the official participation confirmation.
§5 Fees and Payment
(1) All applicable participation fees must be paid in full within the specified deadlines.
(2) Accepted payment methods are those indicated during the registration process.
(3) The organizer reserves the right to deny participation in the event of non-payment.
§6 Programme Changes
(1) The organizer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program of the Trip, including but not limited to schedule, itinerary, site visits, speakers, and content.
(2) Such changes may be made where necessary due to organizational, logistical, or external circumstances and shall not entitle participants to withdraw from the contract or claim compensation, unless the overall character of the Trip is materially altered.
(3) While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the program, the organizer does not assume liability for errors or omissions.
§7 Cancellation and Withdrawal
(1) Withdrawal from participation after contract conclusion is excluded.
(2) Cancellation is not permitted once participation has been confirmed.
(3) No refunds shall be granted in the event of cancellation or non-attendance.
(4) Name changes are permitted upon prior written request to the organizer and subject to approval. The substitute participant must meet all participation requirements. The organizer reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for such changes.
§8 Conduct and Compliance
(1) Participants are required to behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
(2) Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct is prohibited.
(3) Participants agree to comply with applicable EUROFORGE antitrust regulations.
(4) The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants in case of violations without refund.
§9 Intellectual Property
(1) All materials and content provided in connection with the Trip are protected by intellectual property rights.
(2) Any use beyond personal purposes requires prior written consent of the organizer.
§10 Liability
(1) The organizer shall be liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence.
(2) In cases of slight negligence, liability shall be limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to foreseeable damages typical for the contract.
(3) Liability for injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.
(4) Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
(5) Participants are responsible for their own safety and personal belongings.
§11 Force Majeure
The organizer shall not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or governmental actions.
§12 Data Protection
Participants consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the organizer’s privacy policy.
§12 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
(1) These GTC are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
(2) The place of jurisdiction shall be the registered seat of the organizer, to the extent legally permissible.

The organizer reserves the right to amend these GTC with effect for the future.
By registering for the EUROFORGE delegation trip, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these General Terms and Conditions.
